Appliance Removal
White goods disconnected, carried out and disposed of to WEEE and F-gas rules — gone in one visit.
The service
How our appliance removal service works.
An old appliance is dead weight — plumbed in, wedged under a worktop or stranded in a utility room, and far too heavy to wrestle out alone. Our appliance removal service takes the whole job off you: we disconnect the fridge, freezer, washer, dryer or cooker, carry it out without marking your floors, and load it. One appliance or a full kitchen's worth, cleared in a single visit.
Appliances are not skip waste. Fridges and freezers hold refrigerant gas that has to be extracted by the right people, and all white goods are classed as electrical waste under WEEE rules. We move everything on as a registered waste carrier, so your old machine is degassed, stripped and recycled the legal way — never fly-tipped down a country lane with your name on the paperwork.
Booking is built around a photo or a quick WhatsApp video. Show us the appliance, where it sits and the route out, and we send a fixed written quote before we commit to a slot. No guessing on the day, no surprise charges for stairs or a long carry. Two people arrive, disconnect, lift and clear — you keep the space, we take the machine.

Why book us
What makes our appliance removal different.
Disconnected for you
We isolate the water, waste and power and unplumb the machine — you don't touch a valve.
Degassed the legal way
Fridges and freezers go to a licensed facility for refrigerant extraction, never straight to landfill.
WEEE-compliant disposal
Every appliance is handled as electrical waste and recycled under a registered waste carrier.
One visit, whole kitchen
Single fridge or a full set of white goods — disconnected, carried out and gone in one booking.
Floors and doorways protected
Heavy machines eased over runners and around frames, so nothing gets scratched on the way out.

Common questions
Appliance Removal, asked and answered.
Do you disconnect the appliance or do I need a plumber?
We disconnect it. Standard washing machines, dishwashers, fridges and freestanding cookers are unplumbed and unplugged by our crew. Only hard-wired electric cookers or gas appliances need a qualified engineer to isolate them first — tell us at quote and we'll advise.
Can you take a fridge or freezer?
Yes, and this is where doing it properly matters. Fridges and freezers are collected whole, kept upright, and taken to a licensed facility where the refrigerant gas is extracted before recycling. We never dump them.
What happens to my old appliance after collection?
Every appliance is treated as WEEE electrical waste. Fridges and freezers are degassed to remove refrigerant, then all machines are stripped for metals and plastics and recycled to WEEE and F-gas regulations under a registered waste carrier — not sent to landfill.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. We're registered with the Environment Agency and carry, transfer and dispose of your appliance legally as a registered waste carrier. Transfer documentation for your records is available on request.
How much does appliance removal cost?
We quote it in writing after you send a photo or video — no phone estimate that changes on the day. The price covers disconnection, the carry-out, access and legal disposal, so there are no surprise charges once we arrive.
Can you remove several appliances at once?
Yes — a single old washer or a full kitchen of white goods after a refit. Because we size the crew and vehicle to the job, clearing a whole set in one visit is usually the tidiest and best-value way to do it.
My washing machine is upstairs. Is that a problem?
No. Stair carries are part of the job — we protect the treads and walls and take the weight between us. Just mention the floor and staircase when you send your photo so the quote is right first time.
Do I need to be home for the collection?
Ideally yes, so we can confirm which appliances are going and check they're safe to disconnect. If that's tricky, message us on WhatsApp — we can often arrange access and a contactless handover for straightforward jobs.
Local knowledge, national standard
Appliance removal anywhere in the UK, without the gamble.
Searching for appliance removal anywhere in the UK brings up a wall of promises, and no way to tell who'll actually turn up. Here's how we remove the gamble: every job across the UK is surveyed before it's priced, priced in writing before it's booked, and handled by one crew from first box to last.
Because we run UK appliance removal regularly, our crews arrive already knowing the practical stuff — where a van can legally wait, which buildings need lift bookings, how long the carry really takes. That knowledge is what keeps a fixed quote fixed.
Message us on WhatsApp with what's moving and we'll answer with a real plan and a real number — usually the same day.

We pack and protect
On the day (or the day before, for bigger homes) we wrap furniture, protect floors and doorways, and load in a planned order.
Unload, place, done
At the other end every box goes to its labelled room, furniture is placed where you want it, and we don't leave until you've checked everything off.
Packing & protection standards
What "careful" means when we say it.
- Furniture wrapped, always. Transit blankets and stretch-wrap on every sofa, table and wardrobe — before it leaves the room.
- Mattresses and bedding bagged. Sealed protective covers keep beds clean from door to door.
- Fragiles double-boxed. Glassware, ceramics and artwork packed in double-walled boxes with paper wrap — never loose.
- Floors and frames protected. Runners on carpets, padding on door frames and banisters at both properties.
- Loaded like it matters. Heavy at the base, strapped in tiers, nothing resting on anything it shouldn't. Loading is a skill and we treat it as one.

No two moves alike
What we move across the UK.
Full homes and offices, of course — but also the jobs between: a piano down a narrow stair, a wardrobe that defeated the last crew, boxes to a storage unit, a sofa bought across town. If it needs moving across the UK, it's our kind of work.
Whole properties
Houses, flats and offices — surveyed, crewed and moved on a fixed written quote.
Heavy singles
Pianos, safes, American fridges and garden machinery, moved with the right kit.
Small loads
Part-loads, student rooms and marketplace pickups — priced for what they are.
The people doing the lifting
Crews you'd let into your home. Because you are.
A removal is personal — strangers carrying your life down the stairs. Our movers are trained, insured and turn up in uniform with the van equipped: blankets, straps, trolleys, floor runners. The crew lead walks the job with you before anything moves and checks it off with you after the last box lands.
And because the same crew stays with your move end to end, the person who wrapped your glassware is the person unwrapping it.

Access & parking
Parking and access across the UK, handled in advance.
Every quote includes a parking and access plan: where the vehicle stops, how far the carry is, whether a smaller shuttle van makes sense for a tight lane or a private road. We ask about it at survey because it's the single most common thing other quotes ignore — and the most common source of "extras" on someone else's invoice.
Narrow terrace, rural track or high-street flat above a shop across the UK — the plan is made before the day, not improvised on it.
Short notice?
Same-day and next-day crews.
We hold capacity for urgent work. If your dates just collapsed — a completion pulled forward, a tenancy deadline, keys that have to go back — message us now and you'll get an honest answer in minutes: an arrival window and a fixed price, or the earliest real alternative.
