Shed Removal & Demolition
Emptied, taken down or knocked down, and cleared to the last panel — including the base and pad if you want it gone.
The service
How our shed removal & demolition service works.
A tired shed has a way of becoming a permanent fixture. It's full of things you meant to sort, the felt's leaking, the frame's soft, and taking it down yourself means a weekend of splinters and a pile of timber with nowhere to go. Our shed removal service does the lot: emptied, dismantled or demolished, and every scrap carted away in one visit.
Whatever state it's in, we clear it. A sound shed is unbolted and taken apart in panels; a rotten or collapsed one is demolished and broken down where it stands. Timber, felt, glass, the door, the fixings and the contents you no longer want all go — and if the concrete base or paving slabs underneath are surplus too, we can lift and remove those as part of the same job.
You're left with clear, usable ground, not a fresh heap to deal with. Everything we take is sorted for recycling where it can be — timber, metal and hardcore separated rather than tipped as one — and disposed of responsibly as a registered waste carrier. Whether you're making room for a new shed, a patio or just open garden, we hand the space back ready to use.

Common questions
Shed Removal & Demolition, asked and answered.
How much does shed removal cost?
We quote it in writing after you send photos — no number that creeps up on the day. Size, condition, whether the base is coming out and how easy the access is all shape the price, so you get one honest figure before we book.
Do you take the concrete base as well?
We can. If the slab, paving or footings under the shed are surplus, we break them out and take them away as part of the same job. Say so when you send photos and we'll price it in — or leave the base if you want to build back on it.
My shed is full of junk. Do I need to empty it first?
No. Clearing the contents you no longer want is part of the service — garden tools, old paint, timber offcuts, the lot. Just set aside anything you're keeping, and we'll take the rest with the shed.
The shed has partly collapsed and looks unsafe. Can you still remove it?
Yes — collapsed and dangerous sheds are routine for us. We demolish what's left safely, clear the debris and remove any base if needed. The less stable it is, the more reason to let a crew handle it rather than tackling it yourself.
What's the difference between shed removal and shed demolition?
Removal covers taking a shed away however it comes down; demolition is what we do when it's too far gone to dismantle in panels. In practice we do both in one visit — take it down the appropriate way, then clear the site — under a single quote.
What happens to the old shed material?
It's sorted rather than tipped in one heap. Timber, metal, felt and hardcore are separated and recycled where possible, and the rest disposed of responsibly as a registered waste carrier. Disposal documentation is available on request.
Can you remove an asbestos garage or shed roof?
Asbestos-cement sheeting is a specialist, licensed job we don't carry out — but we'll tell you honestly if we suspect it and point you to a licensed removal contractor. For standard timber, metal and plastic sheds, we handle everything.
Will you damage my garden or fences getting it out?
We work carefully around boundaries, plants and paths, and protect surfaces on the carry-out. Access sometimes means routing debris through a side gate or over a low fence — we'll agree the method with you first so nothing's a surprise.
Local knowledge, national standard
Shed removal & demolition anywhere in the UK, without the gamble.
Searching for shed removal & demolition anywhere in the UK brings up a wall of promises, and no way to tell who'll actually turn up. Here's how we remove the gamble: every job across the UK is surveyed before it's priced, priced in writing before it's booked, and handled by one crew from first box to last.
Because we run UK shed removal & demolition regularly, our crews arrive already knowing the practical stuff — where a van can legally wait, which buildings need lift bookings, how long the carry really takes. That knowledge is what keeps a fixed quote fixed.
Message us on WhatsApp with what's moving and we'll answer with a real plan and a real number — usually the same day.

We pack and protect
On the day (or the day before, for bigger homes) we wrap furniture, protect floors and doorways, and load in a planned order.
Unload, place, done
At the other end every box goes to its labelled room, furniture is placed where you want it, and we don't leave until you've checked everything off.
Packing & protection standards
What "careful" means when we say it.
- Furniture wrapped, always. Transit blankets and stretch-wrap on every sofa, table and wardrobe — before it leaves the room.
- Mattresses and bedding bagged. Sealed protective covers keep beds clean from door to door.
- Fragiles double-boxed. Glassware, ceramics and artwork packed in double-walled boxes with paper wrap — never loose.
- Floors and frames protected. Runners on carpets, padding on door frames and banisters at both properties.
- Loaded like it matters. Heavy at the base, strapped in tiers, nothing resting on anything it shouldn't. Loading is a skill and we treat it as one.

No two moves alike
What we move across the UK.
Full homes and offices, of course — but also the jobs between: a piano down a narrow stair, a wardrobe that defeated the last crew, boxes to a storage unit, a sofa bought across town. If it needs moving across the UK, it's our kind of work.
Whole properties
Houses, flats and offices — surveyed, crewed and moved on a fixed written quote.
Heavy singles
Pianos, safes, American fridges and garden machinery, moved with the right kit.
Small loads
Part-loads, student rooms and marketplace pickups — priced for what they are.
The people doing the lifting
Crews you'd let into your home. Because you are.
A removal is personal — strangers carrying your life down the stairs. Our movers are trained, insured and turn up in uniform with the van equipped: blankets, straps, trolleys, floor runners. The crew lead walks the job with you before anything moves and checks it off with you after the last box lands.
And because the same crew stays with your move end to end, the person who wrapped your glassware is the person unwrapping it.

Access & parking
Parking and access across the UK, handled in advance.
Every quote includes a parking and access plan: where the vehicle stops, how far the carry is, whether a smaller shuttle van makes sense for a tight lane or a private road. We ask about it at survey because it's the single most common thing other quotes ignore — and the most common source of "extras" on someone else's invoice.
Narrow terrace, rural track or high-street flat above a shop across the UK — the plan is made before the day, not improvised on it.
Short notice?
Same-day and next-day crews.
We hold capacity for urgent work. If your dates just collapsed — a completion pulled forward, a tenancy deadline, keys that have to go back — message us now and you'll get an honest answer in minutes: an arrival window and a fixed price, or the earliest real alternative.
