How our packing services service works.
Packing is where moves are won or lost. Done well, unloading is effortless and nothing breaks; done badly, it's chaos in taped-up bin bags. Our packing teams pack homes for a living — to the standard the goods-in-transit insurance expects.
A full pack usually happens the day before your move: every room boxed, labelled by destination room, fragiles double-walled and paper-wrapped, wardrobes transferred into hanging boxes. You go to bed in a packed house and move in the morning.
Prefer to pack yourself? Take the fragile-only pack — we handle glassware, art and the kitchen and leave the rest to you — or just order our materials: double-wall boxes, paper, tape and wardrobe boxes delivered to your door.

How long does a full house pack take?
A 3-bed home is typically packed by a crew in a day, scheduled the day before your move. Bigger homes get a bigger crew or an extra day.
Is packing by you required for insurance?
Owner-packed boxes are carried, but cover is strongest on what our crews pack — that's the insurance standard. Fragile-only packs exist precisely to cover the risky stuff.
Do you supply boxes without the packing service?
Yes — materials-only orders (boxes, paper, tape, wardrobe boxes) are delivered to your door. Tell us your home size and we'll send the right bundle.
Can you pack just the kitchen?
The kitchen-and-fragiles pack is our most popular option — we take the breakables, you do the wardrobes and books.
What about TVs and artwork?
Flat screens travel in padded TV boxes, art and mirrors in adjustable picture boxes with corner protection. Tell us sizes at booking.
Do you unpack too?
Yes — add unpacking and we place contents to your direction and remove every empty box the same day.

On the day (or the day before, for bigger homes) we wrap furniture, protect floors and doorways, and load in a planned order.

At the other end every box goes to its labelled room, furniture is placed where you want it, and we don't leave until you've checked everything off.

What "careful" means when we say it.
- Furniture wrapped, always. Transit blankets and stretch-wrap on every sofa, table and wardrobe — before it leaves the room.
- Mattresses and bedding bagged. Sealed protective covers keep beds clean from door to door.
- Fragiles double-boxed. Glassware, ceramics and artwork packed in double-walled boxes with paper wrap — never loose.
- Floors and frames protected. Runners on carpets, padding on door frames and banisters at both properties.
- Loaded like it matters. Heavy at the base, strapped in tiers, nothing resting on anything it shouldn't. Loading is a skill and we treat it as one.

A removal is personal — strangers carrying your life down the stairs. Our movers are trained, insured and turn up in uniform with the van equipped: blankets, straps, trolleys, floor runners. The crew lead walks the job with you before anything moves and checks it off with you after the last box lands.
And because the same crew stays with your move end to end, the person who wrapped your glassware is the person unwrapping it.
Access & parking
Parking and access across the UK, handled in advance.
Every quote includes a parking and access plan: where the vehicle stops, how far the carry is, whether a smaller shuttle van makes sense for a tight lane or a private road. We ask about it at survey because it's the single most common thing other quotes ignore — and the most common source of "extras" on someone else's invoice.

Book your move date, start a room-by-room declutter, and order packing materials (or book our packers).
One week before
Confirm parking at both ends, redirect your post, and photograph meter readings and valuable items.
The day before
Pack an essentials box — kettle, chargers, medication, kids' favourites — and defrost the freezer.
Moving morning
Strip beds, keep documents and keys on you (not in the van), and walk the crew round the home.
At the new place
Direct boxes by room label, check the inventory with the crew, then find the kettle first.
